PRACTICE GROOMING

Service Description

Nanako has been working at our studio for almost a year now, learning and mastering the basics (i.e., tidy/upkeep services). To help her take the next step in her grooming journey, we're introducing the Practice Grooming service. This is a full grooming service by Nanako, charged at a flat rate of $80 (+HST), regardless of size or breed, with weekend (Saturday) availability! I will be in the studio to teach and supervise, but will not be personally grooming, since the purpose of this is for Nanako to learn through experience. Please be aware that this groom will most likely not result in what you’re used to from mine or Ava's grooms. The groom will be a simple one length clipper cut, with basic scissor trimming. Although results may be inconsistent, Nanako will try her best, under my guidance, and treat your pup with love and care like always. Please note that this service is designed for pups who are well behaved, groomed regularly, and for pet parents who are looking for a simple shave/cut. Bookings are by request only. Since Nanako is offering Practice Grooming and Ava is switching to Standard Grooming, we'll be temporarily removing the Apprentice Grooming service, with the hope of offering it again in Spring 2027 once Nanako has more grooming experience under her belt.
